Electromechanical Assembler - Temporary Position
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build a varied range of precision mechanical assemblies and/or electronics assemblies to a high level of quality
- Complete product assembly process with limited direction, referencing drawings and/or written instructions, and using experience and analytical skills
- Experience in Cable and Wire Harness Assembly required
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Highly efficient and excellent quality expected
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and wiring lists in English
- Ability to read wiring diagrams with limited assistance
- Good dexterity and skill in use of hand tools
- Soldering
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
- Six years experience as an assembler of electro-mechanical assemblies
- High School Diploma or GED
RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Ability to complete modification process of products with limited direction referencing writing and/or oral instructions
- Assemble prototype assemblies with limited input from engineers

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and development of new generation of microprocessor controlled welding power supplies and electromechanical weldheads
- Complete design documentation including engineering specifications, flow charts, schematics, and bills of material
- Work with a team of cross-functional engineers in that design
- Work with the software architect and other electrical engineers to develop system architecture, then be responsible for the design, development and testing of the hardware for the project
- Complete digital and analog circuit schematics and block di
- Test and evaluate prototypes to engineering specifications
- Work closely with other key team members including mechanical engineers, designers, manufacturing engineers, technicians, and quality engineers
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A B.S. or M.S. Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent
- Experience with digital and analog circuit design in industrial equipment applications
- Design experience with microprocessors running embed software
- Experience completing designs using power semiconductors, IGBT’s, or MosFET’s is helpful
- Knowledge of transformer and magnetics design is helpful
- Experience completing structured design planning documentations
- Demonstrated success at designing advanced electronic industrial products
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conceptual and detailed software design, coding, and testing of:
- GUI real-time HMI software integrating system operation, motion control, laser programming and control, vision, data collection and analysis, file management, and networking capabilities
- Structured, re-useable low-level motion control system code for Delta-Tau, Compumotor, Aerotech motion systems implementing control system and I/O functions
- PLC code for Allen Bradley, Omron PLCs
- DLLs for selected software-controllable systems components such as: data acquisition and controls, motion controllers, visions systems, lasers, data collection and report generators
- Manufacturing floor automation connectivity software including LAN, database, and other standard interfaces and protocols
Project Engineering:
- Work in a team environment with other engineers, production, QA, test, materials control, contract management, and sales personnel
- Support existing software
- Develop new software under direction of Sr Control Software Engineer
- Prepare requirements document based on interview with customer and hardware engineers
- Prepare interface and functionality documentation for software modules
- Develop project plans and schedules for software development work
- Report on progress, demonstrations, changes
- Provide detailed documentation for engineering release
Software development management:
- Analyze and recommend improvements to our present software development and design control methodology
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Completely knowledgeable in software design tools and environments including: Visual Basic, Visual C++, C#, Java, Windows, networking – current experience in C# is preferred. Strong fundamental background in Software Engineering is a MUST!
- Design for long term support and modification
- Professional software design and documentation control methodology
- Four year degree in computer science, engineering, physics, or related discipline
- Three years+ experience in designing custom motion control and HMI software
- Ability to travel occasionally
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Responsibilities include selling approved Miyachi Unitek Products into governmental sales channels
- Initial primary focus of the position is to establish partnerships with various governmental agencies and maximize sales in this channel
- This includes working independently as well as in a team environment
- The successful applicant will qualify opportunities to ensure greatest return on time and resource investment
- Once channel has been developed, will be responsible for creating accurate and timely sales forecasts
- Job will include moderate travel including trade shows, appropriate conferences and customer visits
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must have experience with GSA procurement process contracts modifications, which includes additions or deletions of products, price change modifications, general administrative modifications
- Candidate must have experience completing e-buy request and government RFQ’S
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- 5 years experience in sales or procurement
- Marketing experience a plus
- Previous working experience with governmental agencies and/or GSA
- Knowledge MS Office programs
PREFERRED ADDITIONAL SKILLS:
- Experience with GSA contracts
- Understanding of how to leverage strategic relationships to meet sales targets
- Track record being self-directed, goal oriented, and self starting
