TEMPORARY Systems Assembler
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build a varied range of precision mechanical assemblies and/or electronics assemblies to a high level of quality
- Complete product assembly process with limited direction, referencing drawings and/or written instructions, and using experience and analytical skills
- Assemble prototype models under verbal and written instructions provided by engineers
- Provide advanced manufacturability inputs to reduce product cost and increase product reliability
- Integrate electronic and mechanical components into systems with limited direction
- Use basic test instruments to troubleshoot systems
- Light machining required as well as use of belt sander, saw, grinder, drill press, etc.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Highly efficient and excellent quality expected
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and wiring lists in English
- Good dexterity and skill in use of hand tools
- Soldering
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
- Six years experience as an assembler of electro-mechanical assemblies
- AA in Electronics or related field or have advanced electronic and mechanical assembly skills
